Message	I almost did the same thing. The blade missed my eye by no more than 6" from my head. I heard and FELT the wizz go by me, un protected. This was the first time I used a Dremel and realized my eye was like a grape. I was messing with my mothers garage door when this happened, but have religiously worn eye protection since then. Dremels are great but don't let them f*ck up your eyes for the rest of your life. Since this inncodent, I wear eye protection for any power driven tool now.
